IMPULSE ART @ DANIA BEACH ARTS & SEAFOOD CELEBRATION
Yesterday (March 29) we performed 'IMPULSE ART' -Fusion of Music & painting- at one of the greatest annual event in Dania Beach Arts & Seafood Celebration. I painted with my feet, inspired by the rhythm of drumming along with my friends Jeffrey Lee, Adrian Jones, and Evan Kline from Resurrection Drums. Guests: Diego Fuica Leicht and Gabriel Tito.

“Cuando estoy en mis performances, una energía mágica comienza
a fluír en el aire junto con el ritmo musical que escucho y veo mis pies que
danzan impulsivamente sobre la tela. En cierto momento, no siento que soy yo
quien está ahí… es la música que fluye a través de mí y me mueve. Aparecen
imágenes en mi mente y trato de reproducirlas…”
En
diciembre se vive, en el sur de la Florida, uno de los acontecimientos más
significativos a nivel internacional y de gran importancia para el país no sólo
económica –con un ingreso de millones de dóllares- sino culturalmente: la
“Semana del Art Basel”. Los amantes del arte provenientes de todos los
continentes, coleccionistas, artistas, gallerías, museos y también curiosos se
dan cita en Miami.Aparte de la conocida feria europea Art Basel, se destacan muchas otras que nos brindan un panorama del acontecer en el mundo del arte, en tan sólo una semana. Son realmente muy pocos los días para apreciar este enorme volumen de obras y propuestas presentadas por los artistas.
